Presenting its first fashion show titled – 'Second Skin' at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012, Veev’s collection was dominated by structured handbags with bold, defining silhouettes complemented by stylish clutches and elegant totes. The Second Skin show was completely styled by the renowned designer Aki Narula, best known for his couture line 'AKI' and for his work in numerous Bollywood films.
Prominent textures of VEEV’s collection include signature weaves, distinct appliqués and natural grain leathers. Lined with luxuriant leather and fine jacquard fabrics, the VEEV bags are well complemented with the clutches, which are also designed to serve as standalone masterpieces for special occasions. Through the 'Second Skin' show at LFW, VEEV aims to showcase the relationship of a handbag and a woman, one that symbolizes sensuality and artistry.

This was my inspiration and therefore I decided to drape the models with feminine silhouettes in charcoal and skin tone to give them a traditional yet contemporary look".
