SIAM reforecasts car sales for 2013

Leading Industry body, the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has lightly lowered its forecast for car sales for the year ending next March, as increase in costs and slower economic expansion weigh, according to a Reuters report.

Car sales for the current fiscal year are expected to rise 9-11 percent, the apex body said, lower than the 10-12 percent growth it had forecast in April this year, the report added.
