SAP India, the Information Technology giant has forged alliance with the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), the nodal agency for the Indian auto component industry, for providing customised ERP and business analytics applications to its members, according to an ET report.
Since its initiation, SAP India has seen major deployments and traction for its solutions amongst the member firms, noted the report.
Arvind Kapur, President of ACMA said: "Enterprise-wide solutions are imperative to integrate the supply chain and efficiently manage and respond to dynamic business needs. A solution which is tailored to cater to the needs of the automotive sector will enable quick access to reliable business information, thereby servicing our customers better".
