Puducherry Government shortly to establish Integrated Textile Park, Chief Minister N Rangasamy has announced, according to a fibre2fashion report.
The textile park would be part of a new industrial policy that would be soon unveiled by the government to boost industrial growth in the state lying on the eastern coast of India. In addition, the government would also establish multi-product special economic zones in Puducherry and Karaikal.
The state government also proposes to launch a skill development programme in Puducherry to impart training to about 20,200 youth over the next five years, the Chief Minster added.
