The Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical manufacturer Natco Pharma Limited has reported a 12.03 percent dip in net profit to Rs 12.65 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 in contrast with Rs 14.38 crore in the year ago period, according to a company statement.

Similarly, the total income also showed an upward tick of 33.42 percent to Rs 153.84 crore during the quarter, as against Rs 115.30 crore in 2011. For the full year, the net profit increased by 11.40 percent to Rs 59.61 crore, as against Rs 53.51 crore last year. Total income was pegged at Rs 555.58 crore versus Rs 483.07 crore, registering a growth of 15.01 percent. The company's scrip is currently trading at Rs 411.46 on BSE, down 16 percent over the previous close of Rs 410.78.
