Mexico plans to restrict entry of Chinese footwear

The export of leather and leather products from India are likely to register a growth of 13 per cent and touch $ 5.4 billion by 2014 from the current level of $3.8 billion, though there is a slowdown in the European economy, says a study by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). European countries account for over 60 per cent of India’s export of leather and leather products.
