Hyderabad Jewellery, Pearl and Gem Fair, the fifth edition of the three-day exposition will kick-start at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad on June 22, 2012 according to a BL report.
Quoting kranti Nagvekar, Group Director of UBM India, the report said that the organisers was expecting humungous business to transact in this b2b event, as south India in general and Andhra Pradesh in particular is a huge market for jewellry. The fourt southern states accourted for 45 percent of the estimated 900 tonnes of gold jewellery sale hapening in the country every year. The extravaganza would be replete with 125 exhibitors from the domest market as well as from overseas destinations, showcasing an array of products including studded jewellery, gems, machinery and lab firms, pearls, diamond jewellery and traditional gold jewellery. What is more, in excess of 4,000 visitors are expected to attend the trade fair, the official added.
