The Italian car major FIAT is planning to launch its premium hatchback car, FIAT Bravo in India as part of improving its fortune in the burgeoning auto market. The top end hatchback is all set to create ripples in the Indian market as the industry grapevine puts it that FIAT will launch FIAT Bravo very soon.
To be introduced both in petrol as well as diesel versions, FIAT is offering 1910 cc, four cylinder engine with a six speed manual transmission for the gaslone version. FIAT Bravo will have 150 bhp at 4,000 rpm and a torque of 305 Nm at 2,000 rpm. Similarly, the diesel version will also have all these basic specifications, except some mandatory requirements by ARAI.
FIAT, known for its exterior design aesthetics has now did lot of homework to improve the interiors as well as incorporating loads of safety features. The company has decided not to leave any stone unturned as its interiors and safety features said it all.
The new car, FIAT Bravo can easily accomodate five persons for a comfortable and hassle free journey. Furthermore, FIAT has ensured that the boot space, which is a key demand by the Indian patrons, has provided 365 litres. What is more, this boot space has made both the rear as well as front passengers happy, as this car ensures world of a legroom. Other features including power steering, front dist and rear drum tyres, body coloured bumpers, trip meter, alloy wheels, tachometer and more are almost similar like that of other cars being offered in India in the same genre.
The company has added a slew of safety features including climate controlled air-conditioner, power windows, remote fuel filler, central remote locking, rear defogger, rear wiper, folding rear seats and more.

Apart from that there are other compatible devices including speed-sensitive volume control with steering-wheel-mounted audio controls.
The new FIAT Bravo comes in three colours: Maranello red, fascinating black and Maserati blue in the Indian market. Furthermore, the vehicle also offers excellent fuel economy of 18 kmpl and the car maker is likely to price between Rs 17-22 lakh. To cut the long story short, FIAT is fully geared up to widen its footprint in the Indian market and grab a respectful marketshare in the coming days.
