Auto shares nosedived at Bombay Stock Exchange today on reports that passenger car sales would fall to single digit in contrast with the current ten percent growth. Bajaj Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors and Bharat Forge shares are the prominent losers from the auto sector, with 2-3 percent decline for each. On the Sensex, Bajaj Auto has shed nearly four percent at Rs 1,668.
