The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) is organizing its 4th annual Herbal International Summit cum Exhibition on Medicinal & Aromatic Products, Spices and finished products(hi-MAPS) at NSIC, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi on April, 14&15, 2012.
This mega event will showcase continental, regional and local competence in this industry and help promote worldwide upcoming business of herbals, spices and finished products, says an Assocham statement.
It will bring together cultivators, traders and manufacturers of medicinal plants, showcasing their new technological innovation, products and services to promote export in overseas countries which offers immense scope.
More than 150 prominent Indian and foreign companies are expected to participate in this event. More than 20 international buyers/speakers and regulators from Canada, Europe and Asia will take part in this mega expo.
India has a strong base of herbs, herbals and Ayurvedic traditional system of medicine which has gained acceptance worldwide.
Government is very keen to encourage this industry by offering many incentive schemes. Keeping in view the huge scope of this industry, ASSOCHAM encourages the large participation by manufacturers, cultivators, traders, suppliers and entrepreneurs dealing with Ayurvedic, herbal & medicinal plants and offer special discounted participation charges to gain innovative knowledge and establish networking to boost the export of herbal products.
